Q. How easy is it to operate the stairlift?
A. Operating the Stairlift is easy you can choose from simple push button or lever control
Q. Will the stairlift fold away?
A. Yes.When not in use they fold away to just eleven inches. A linked seat and footrest option allows the footrest to be folded aay without having to bend down.
Q. What if I have a doorway or passage at the foot of the stairs?
A. We can provide folding track device to lift the bottom of the track up and out of the way.
Q. Will the seat swivel?
A. Yes. The Stair-Safe™ stairlifts feature a swivel seat which can be rotated to form a barrier across the staircase. In this position, the seat overlaps onto the landing for safety and security.
Q Does the stairlift have seat belts?
A. Yes. Fixed seatbelts are provided as standard, retractable belts are optional.
Q. Can you buy a Stand-Perch Model?
A. Yes. For those very narrow staircases or if you have difficulty bending knees, our Stand-Perch model may be more suitable.
Q. How long is the stairlift guaranteed for?
A. The stairlift is guaranteed for 1 year.
