V.A.T. Exemption Information
Most of our customers don't have to pay V.A.T so we display our prices excluding V.A.T, where the exemption allows.
The government requires that you complete a V.A.T declaration form. To claim V.A.T relief on your purchases you just need to complete this simple online form which you will automatically be prompted to complete during the ordering process. Most of the form is already filled in for you; so you need to just check it, type your name and nature of your disability or illness.
You will not have to pay V.A.T if you can declare that you are chronically sick or disabled. Chronically sick means that you have an illness that is likely to last a long time e.g. arthritis, angina. Disabled means substantially and permanent handicapped by illness or injury. you do not have to be registered disabled to claim relief from V.A.T, but the nature of your illness or disablement must be specified.
Remember:
If you are eligible for V.A.T relief and if you complete our online declaration form, you will not be charged V.A.T where exemptions are available. If you do not complete the form, or you are not eligible for V.A.T relief, we are obliged to charge you the full 17.5% V.A.T on the whole order.
